Offshore Representative
Our client is seeking at Offshore Representative join their team. Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to the development of a strong, positive HSE culture within the Asset & Operations Management functions and ensure that there is always a focus on supporting, maintaining, and improving standards of HSE related to the scope delivered to site/projectResponsible for the offshore execution of the Annual O&M Program, supervising the day-to-day offshore operations and consolidates plans/schedules to maximise synergies and cost savingsManagement of the execution of short- and long-term offshore maintenance plans/schedules on a day-to-day basisSupport the O&M Manager to achieve the lowest possible yield lossCreate, deliver, and maintain processes for “way of working” and site management (e.g., manual for site management, OCC, jack-up operations, DPR, etc.)Recommend technical, design improvementsSupport the O&M Manager in providing regular technical / performance reporting to the CEO and project shareholdersPerform supplier/Contractor quality and HSE audits offshore inspections of Contractors. (HSE Manager to train/support in proficiently performing these tasks and to lead the audits when the risk is particularly high).(Lead) and participate in site toolbox talks and briefings when on-shiftCommence and participate regular site performance / problem-solving meetings and regular reviewsEnsure the status review and prioritisation of new safety, process, and reliability improvements for the siteEnsure continuous improvement of O&M plans and schedules, following PDCA principlesSupport the O&M Manager in reviewing technical proposals received from project service providers (from both operational and business case perspective), challenge where required and provide summary information and recommended actionsSupport the O&M Manager in managing operational elements of the day-to-day performance of all contractors and service providers and the compliance with their contractual obligationsCarry out site inductions with new site staff or visitors as required (note that this refers to the presentation elements on-site, this does not refer to the sending out of links to induction material and e-learning etc.)Create Risk Assessments as required (HSE Manager support as required)Support the Operations / Asset Management functions as required in the day-to-day management of the operational generating assets, including scheduling and controlling offshore works, reacting to emergencies, co-ordinating unscheduled maintenance and responding to network outages, site issues and faults and failuresIdentify project risks, propose mitigating measures, and monitor on an ongoing basisDevelop strong relationships with clients, contractors, and service providers to maximize their performanceContributing to the preparation of the monthly management reports, providing operational and HSE commentaryLiaison with other technical functions for inspections and operational reviewsEnsure creation and delivery of internal operational processes and procedures (action log management, creation of reports and in general, “ways of working”)Manage and monitor Operational KPIs (internal and external, i.e., for contractors)Create manual for site management (incl. key processes, communication framework, OCC, daily tasks, RACI with contractors, DPR, etc.)Define concept and manuals for jack-up operations (insurance, documentation, contractor interface, HSE, etc.)Ensure:That performance guarantees such as the availability warranty are met or exceededHealth, safety and environmental performance follows the site HSE plan, the relevant Health and Safety standards, legislation and best industry practiceLow response times and effective execution of corrective and preventive maintenance, remediation of defects and technical resolution of equipment failures Requirements+5 years’ offshore wind project experienceTechnical/Engineering/Operations backgroundOffshore wind industry knowledge and understanding of best practiceWillingness to work 14/14 rotation offshoreAble to commence offshore works (GWO)Good communicator with proven ability to build sound business relationships and represent them in project meetings and presentationsSolid technical understanding of the full asset, Operational requirements and logisticsCompetent when dealing with quality standards, best practice procedures, technical specifications and regulatory requirementsTenacious self-starter, professional, organized and process drivenAble to work independentlyIT literate (familiar with Microsoft Office & SharePoint; willing to learn and make full use of internal systems)Strong communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to establish, maintain and develop effective relationships.Self-driven, proactive, and solution-oriented attitudeExperience of working in health and safety critical environments and to ensuring the establishment of HSE culture throughout the transition and operational start-up phase.IT and presentation skills.Background in Offshore EPC projects / operational start-up of offshore windfarms / windfarm operationsHV Competent Person (SAP)Profound knowledge of operational processes in operational windfarmsSolid technical understanding of the full Asset (WTG, Cables, ONS, OSS, Foundation) and required Maintenancein Offshore EPC projects / operational start-up of offshore windfarms / windfarm operationsIT competent within the Microsoft Office package and SAP with an ability to quickly learn how to use software tools.Profound knowledge of operational processes in operational windfarmsSolid technical understanding of the full Asset (WTG, Cables, ONS, OSS, Foundation) and required Maintenance
