Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated CPPA Manager / Head of CPPA to lead and manage corporate power purchase agreements (CPPAs) within their growing portfolio of offshore wind projects in Taiwan. The CPPA Manager will be responsible for securing long-term agreements with corporate clients, building and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to revenue stability and growth for our offshore wind assets. This role requires strong commercial acumen, deep understanding of the Taiwanese renewable energy market, and expertise in contract negotiation and management.

- Develop and execute the company’s strategy for corporate PPAs, aligning with the business development and financial goals of our client’s offshore wind projects in Taiwan.
- Build, update, and refine financial models for CPPA agreements to assess project feasibility, pricing structures, and risk scenarios. Provide financial forecasts and sensitivity analyses to inform decision-making and enhance project profitability.
- Identify potential corporate clients with renewable energy needs. Build and maintain relationships with key corporate buyers, energy advisors, and intermediaries to foster CPPA opportunities.
- Lead negotiations on CPPA terms, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that address both client needs and company objectives. Collaborate with legal, finance, and technical teams to finalize CPPA structures and contracts.
- Monitor Taiwan’s energy market trends, policies, and corporate demand for renewable energy. Provide insights into pricing structures, regulatory changes, and client preferences to inform CPPA strategy.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including project development, legal, finance, and operations, to support CPPA agreements and address client inquiries. Act as the main point of contact for CPPA clients.
- Assess and mitigate financial and operational risks related to CPPA agreements. Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Energy Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in energy markets, renewable energy, or corporate energy procurement, with at least 3 years in a CPPA, PPA.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing CPPAs or PPAs in the renewable energy sector.
- In-depth understanding of Taiwan’s renewable energy market, CPPA structures, and corporate renewable procurement trends.
- Knowledge of Taiwanese energy regulations and policies related to offshore wind and CPPAs.
- Proficiency in contract negotiation, financial modeling, and risk assessment for energy transactions.
- Familiarity with electricity pricing models, grid infrastructure, and renewable energy certification processes.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken) is required to liaise effectively with corporate clients and stakeholders.
