With continuing growth at LSP Renewables, we are now looking to grow our finance team in the UK with a newly created role as Assistant Accountant for UK, Asia and the USA
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll undertake a variety of tasks, some of which will be management of existing activities and others will be creating new ones.

Duties:
  • Post Prepayments journals
  • Post accruals across different countries
  • Fixed asset register management
  • Record bank transactions and monthly bank reconciliation
  • Maintaining Fixed Assets and run depreciation.
  • Import Sales and Cost of Sales from InTime into Xero
  • Updating Exchange rate in Intime
  • Petty Cash reconciliation
  • Post supplier invoices and arrange for payment.
  • Manage company credit card expenses, involving coding, posting, receipt verification, and reconciliation to statements.
  • Reconcile Credit Card control accounts.
  • Support the finance team with weekly and monthly payroll
  • Support with month end task
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Understanding of double entry
  • Any other Ad hoc tasks – Support with Annual Group Audit
About you:
  • Studying towards a qualification (ACA/ACCA/AAT)
  • Strong IT and systems knowledge
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively with both finance and none finance staff
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving, able to work independently using initiative to follow through & resolve issues.
  • Good organisational and planning skills are essential.
  • Flexible approach with a can do attitude
  • Ideally have experience in the recruitment industry however this is not essential
  • Systems used – InTime / Xero / Bullhorn [ Desirable – not essential]
  • Willing to learn as there is a lot scope to grow within the team
