As a Lead Commissioning Manager you will be part of the EPCI Execution Team and will be accountable for your own Commissioning Package.
Reporting directly into the EPCI Director, you will provide expert Commissioning guidance to support other package with the delivery of the Commissioning scopes, such as WTG Package, Onshore Substation Package etc.
You will take responsibility for energization of the project in stages ensuring power milestones are achieved as well as operation of the transmission network in accordance with the 'Electrical Safety Rules'.
Within your Commissioning Department you be responsible for a team of Electrical Safety persons such as Control Engineers and Senior Authorized persons.

Key Responsibilities
In this capacity, you shall take on a broad range of tasks, including but not limited to the following:
- Support packages to deliver their Commissioning Scope in accordance with design specifications and standards.
- Manage the energization of critical plant and systems following final completion
- Overseeing Product Quality and HSE standards are adhered to
- Manage the interfaces between packages
- Ensure Packages and Contractors Maintain compliance with Electrical Safety Rules
- Tae operational control of offshore assets which have been commissioned but yet to be energized
- Responsible for ensuring the management of Electrical Work Permits
- Drive the teams on site towards achieving scope on time
- Manage any raised risk or opportunities on site which affect Installation and Commissioning of the project
- Keep track of contractors daily work activities
- Manage the Weekly reporting to the senor director and shareholders
- Manage Interface with Internal and External Commissioning teams.
- Lead the Commissioning team where required
- Participate in Commissioning test as required
- Manage the budget and forecasting the cost at completion.
- Responsible for managing the notifications to the Transmission System Operators
- Responsible for the delivery of operation from the Offshore Control Room
- Management of Integration testing such as SCADA Protection.
Qualifications & Key Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience Offshore Wind Projects in Particular Onshore and Offshore Substations
- Experience working as an SAP in some capacity
- Strong technical knowledge of High Voltage systems, design, installation, and commissioning processes.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, with a track record of delivering on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
