Offshore Wind

Scope of Works <ul><li>Examination of technical feasibility and defining preferred options, identifying risks with all options and outlining next steps.</li><li>Assess land requirements for permanent and temporary works</li><li>Engage with third parties to ensure agreements in place for cable route and substation (i.e. road and utility owners)</li><li>Work alongside land agents to discuss project design requirements with landowners and attending any public events to discuss the project and understand any significant issues that this could cause</li><li>Work alongside HDD/Direct Pipe Specialists for landfall and cable route</li></ul>Deliverables <ul><li>Identification of landowners, occupiers and other parties that hold an interest in land, through interpretation and research of Registers of Scotland titles, Sasines, and Crofting Registers.</li><li>Report examining technical feasibility and defining preferred options, identifying risks with all options and outlining next steps.</li><li>Secure land Agreements necessary to support the development of the infrastructure relating to the project</li></ul>Requirements <ul><li>Demonstrable Commercial negotiation experience.</li><li>An understanding or Crofting Rights and Land Court procedures.</li><li>Strong negotiation skills which deliver deals effectively and without setting any adverse precedents</li><li>Able to comprehend technical information and translate this into requirements for land agreements</li><li>Knowledge of Scottish land agreements</li></ul>Certifications <ul><li>Relevant university degree in Planning, Environment or Engineering discipline</li></ul>
