Our client is looking for a Civil Project Engineer to join their team.  
 
Key Responsibilities

• Provide civil engineering support across multiple projects by creating outline designs during development phases
  Including site/route selection, ground investigation specification, earthworks designs, public road upgrade, landscaping and access for proposed assets.
• Define the scope of engineering design, as well as validate and verify the engineering design and construction and installation for assigned projects.
• Develop scope of works and detailed specifications, supporting site teams to ensure the quality of installations.
• Evaluate tenders and scope, procure, and manage specialist services.

Qualifications  

• Candidates must be degree qualified electrical engineers to be considered for this role.
• Previous Transmission experience required.
• A minimum of 3+ years’ experience working within civil engineer project role.
• Qualified to a minimum of HND level in Electrical Engineering.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate diligence and prioritise tasks, as well as a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, including CDM and ESQCR, and the implications of this for Transmission network management.

Desirable

• Ideally, candidates should be Chartered Engineers or working towards this.
• Ideally, experience with Civil project Engineering on UK projects.
