Vårgrønn is an agile, Norwegian-based offshore wind company powering the energy transition through development, construction, operation, and ownership of offshore wind assets. Vårgrønn is a joint venture between the energy company Plenitude (Eni) and the Norwegian energy entrepreneur and investor HitecVision.  
Vårgrønn holds a 20% share in Dogger Bank, the world’s largest offshore windfarm under construction, and has together with Flotation Energy been awarded exclusivity to develop up to 1.9 GW through the offshore floating windfarm Green Volt and Cenos in Scotland. Green Volt will be Europe’s first floating offshore commercial scale wind farm.  
We are collaborating with Equinor to develop a floating offshore wind project at Utsira Nord in Norway of up to 750 MW, and also in the Baltics, where Vårgrønn is leading a collaboration with European Energy towards the upcoming auction round in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. In Ireland, we are partnering with Energia Renewables to develop offshore wind projects of up to 1.8 GW.  
Our organisation is based in Stavanger, Oslo, and London, and is expanding to meet our strategic goals and drive offshore wind forward in Northern Europe.

Vårgrønn is looking for an ambitious and skilled Contracts and Procurement Manager to lead in projects and strategic work across in our floating wind project, Green Volt. You will play a key role in driving procurement strategies, optimizing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with internal and legal standards. The role will involve close cooperation with the Director of Procurement and other teams across the organisation to support business objectives. 
 
Key Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and execute strategic procurement plans for packages across the project portfolio, focused but not limited to Electrical and Foundation Packages
• To lead packages, to include contract and procurement management within the project team
• Engaging with internal and external resources and stakeholders to achieve best practice results
• Contribute to create and implement procurement and contract strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and incorporate the growing complexities and challenges within the OW industry
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors in the industry
• Develop agreements with suppliers and providers to make sure they are feasible
• Develop contract specifications on behalf of the project
• Approve purchase orders, planning, and verifying delivery of goods and services
• Contribute to strategies in finding cost-effective deals and supplier approaches

 
Qualifications  
Vårgrønn are looking for someone with a strong background in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within energy, heavy asset or other industries.
 
The preferred candidate has a MSc, BSc or equivalent in relevant field, and/is CIPs qualified (desirable).
 
To succeed in this role, you need to have a collaborative mindset and enjoy working in cross-functional teams, Structure and ability to manage multiple tasks is an advantage. Your strong drive and supply chain expertise will be essential in supporting the success of our business.
