Our client is looking for a Land Acquisition Manager to originate lands suitable for the development of utility-scale ground-mounted solar photovoltaic projects in Italy.
You will be responsible for site identification, screening and selection, environmental assessments, land agreements, suitable for solar photovoltaic projects.
 
The Role

• Initiate and implement origination plans, including establishing channel partners, in one or more designated regions
• Identify, filter, engage, and cultivate contacts in support of the land origination strategy
• Manage the relationships with the landowners
• Track, update, coordinate, and originate leads directly and with the team
• Collaborate with other company team members to provide a coordinated customer approach and outreach effort

 
Requirements

• Experience in land identification; demonstrated success in prospecting, identifying, and qualifying new leads
• Successful at building and implementing landowners acquisition plans
• Experience in building relationships with landowners
• Ability to develop customer relationships through existing contacts and relationships and build relationships quickly
• Good knowledge of land option agreements and ability to successfully negotiate preliminary & final land rights agreements
• Ability to travel in various regions of Italy upon request
• Willingness to work and thrive in a culture of respect, communication, and accountability in a highly dynamic environment
