Our client is looking for a Project Finance Analyst to join their team.

Responsibilities

Participating and contributing to the origination, negotiation and execution of suitable project finance transactions within the sector and geographic areas
Identify suitable lenders and prepare material required to raise Project Financing with Lenders: Teasers, Information Memorandums, Financial Models, DD materials: technical/legal/insurance package (EPC/O&M Contracts, PPA, etc.)
Examine the different structuring alternatives in the Term Sheets received from potential Lenders with the financial model, considering risk & returns, leverage/equity requirements, projects maturity, available instruments, etc.
Liaise and coordinate all DD process with advisors involved in the transaction (internal and external/lender’s advisors), coordinate provision of information and overall supervision of their due diligence work (legal, technical, insurance, model audit, etc.) to be shared with Lenders.
Participation in the negotiation and closing of finance and security documents with internal/external legal advisors. Leading collection of all internal approvals, documentation/KYC and any CP information.
With the support of local asset managers and finance/administration teams, monitoring of financings closed during construction (drawdowns) and operation: main covenants compliance and manage waiver, restructurings or refinancings.
Other duties as may be requested by the senior management on an ongoing business requirement basis.

Requirements

Min 2 years-experience in project finance in the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors.
Previously worked in a bank or an infra/energy company or debt advisory firm with good Financial Modelling skills and experience negotiating Term Sheets and Financing Documentation with Financial Institutions/Investors.
Experience negotiating Project Finance documentation.
Experience in coordinating DD processes, working with legal/technical/market/insurance advisors and lenders.
Familiarity with subsidy schemes and/or PPA contracts.
Comfort with sophisticated excel PF models and modelling skills in Project Finance.
Familiarity with the following technologies: Solar PV, battery storage, Wind.
Languages: Spanish and fluent English. Italian, Polish, Romanian or Hebrew are a plus.
