LSP RENEWABLES ACHIEVES ISO 45001: A COMMITMENT TO OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY!
We are delighted to announce that we have recently achieved ISO 45001 certification, further solidifying our dedication to ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our workforce.
The ISO 45001 standard is internationally recognised and sets the criteria for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, helping businesses create safer workplaces, reduce risks, and improve overall business performance.
What Does ISO 45001 Certification Entail?
ISO 45001 is the world’s first international standard for occupational health and safety management systems. It provides a framework for businesses to:
• Identify and Manage Risks: Organisations are required to identify potential hazards and assess risks that could harm employees or contractors.
• Ensure Regulatory Compliance: The standard helps businesses meet local, national, and international OH&S regulations.
• Promote a Proactive Safety Culture: It encourages a culture where safety is an integral part of daily operations.
• Improve Employee Well-Being: The standard emphasises the importance of worker health and well-being as a key part of an organisation’s safety culture.
• Continuous Improvement: ISO 45001 promotes an ongoing commitment to improving safety systems, with regular reviews and updates to policies, procedures, and practices.
The process of earning ISO 45001 certification involves an in-depth assessment and review of an organization’s health and safety practices. It requires adherence to high standards of risk management, as well as a commitment to ongoing improvement. By meeting these standards, LSP Renewables has demonstrated its leadership in creating a safe working environment for our employees.
Operations Director, Kathryn Scorer says, “LSP Renewables’ successful ISO 45001 certification is just one step in our ongoing commitment to safety and operational excellence. As we continue to grow and expand our presence in the renewable energy industry, our focus remains on ensuring the safety of our employees, contractors, and the communities we serve.”
With a portfolio of three other ISO accreditations, achieving the ISO 45001 certification ensures that safety and health are embedded in every aspect of our operations. Each of our accreditations has contributed to building a strong framework for operational success, aligning our values with international standards of best practice. With the addition of ISO 45001, LSP Renewables continues to enhance its reputation as a company that prioritises not only environmental sustainability but also the health and safety of its employees.
As LSP Renewables continues to grow as a recruitment leader in the renewable energy industry, we will always take a proactive approach to risk management, ensuring continuous improvement, and focusing on the overall safety culture within our operations.
