LSP CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY!

LSP News

International Women’s Day
‘Creating a work culture where women’s careers thrive, and their achievements are celebrated’.

The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day is embracing equity and creating a world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world where difference is valued and celebrated, a world with workplaces where women thrive.

At LSP Renewables the number of females within our work force is rapidly growing across all three of our offices. We provide equal opportunities to all our staff, encouraging them to aim for the best whilst also providing them with the learning materials and support network they need to do so.  We allow everyone to thrive within their careers as they follow their renewable energy recruitment path. LSP hold annual awards evenings, and quarterly trips and lunches out to celebrate the achievements that all our team have accomplished throughout the year.

CEO, Adam Grainger said ‘LSP’s workforce needs to be as diverse as the candidates and clients we represent.  Having a gender diverse workforce brings about a harmonious and creative working environment. This enables us to come up with a myriad of ideas and solutions, fit to tackle the challenges that face us as the business and the market we operate within evolves.  I truly value the input we receive from the whole team at LSP.  The diversity of their viewpoints enables us to consider how to overcome obstacles from a multi-dimensional perspective.  This diversity of subjectivity allows us to navigate and plan the best way forward for the business.’

In the Robert Walters Diversity and Inclusion in Recruitment Whitepaper it states that 51% of employers believe that diversity helps introduce unique skills into the workforce, and 67% believe that diversity allows them to reflect the community they operate in. By operating with a diverse workforce, it allows LSP to show our candidates and clients with the renewable energy industry that we as a business have an inclusive and non-bias approach to recruitment.

Marketing Executive, Charlotte Eastaff also told us how LSP have supported her career over the last two years, she said; ‘LSP Renewables have created opportunities for me that I never expected when first joining the business. I started LSP Renewables as an Office Administrator after graduating university in the middle of a global pandemic. Shortly after, the senior management team saw potential in me and promoted me to Marketing Executive, allowing me to follow and excel at the career path I went to university for. LSP Renewables see their staff as more than just a number where every individual is treated as such, they allow us to pursue our careers by providing endless opportunities to progress and give us the tools we need to do so.’

Our team is motivated, innovative, and creative due to the diversity and inclusivity amongst them. Here at LSP Renewables, we pride ourselves on providing the best first-class service to all candidates and clients, and we achieve that on a day-to-day basis due to our dedicated workforce.
