Scott joined LSP Renewables in March 2021 as a Senior Consultant, and due to his outstanding contributions, he was recently promoted to Head of Solar. In this role, he is responsible for managing and expanding our dedicated Solar division, continuing to drive growth and deliver exceptional talent solutions within the solar energy sector.

LSP Renewables have partnered with a tier 1 module manufacturer in the international Solar PV industry to recruit a Sales Manager for the Benelux market. Our client are a very successful tier 1 module manufacturer in the PV space. They are growing the business in Europe and require a multiple Sales professionals to join them to focus on different markets. . The successful candidate will sell tier 1 Solar modules to the Benelux region, focusing on the C&I market selling to installers. Key Responsibilities Assess and establish contact with key clients. Responsible for market share and sales targets in the region Focus on module sales, pipeline development. Develop and implement sales strategies and business plan for each segment. Lead contract negotiations with clients. Building sustainable customer relationships through regular on-site visits Management customers from Pre-Sales to After Sales support. Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth sales fulfilment. Good knowledge of own and competitor product portfolios (Modules) Regular presence at trade fairs and customer-related events Market monitoring, ability to make reliable forecasts Requirements Degree in a relevant discipline Experience in the Solar PV industry, in particular, sales management and preferably in module and/or storage products Strong network in the Benelux Solar PV industry

Head of Construction - Solar PV

LSP Renewables have partnered with a leading independent power producer (IPP) to recruit a Head of Construction for the UK Solar PV sector. Our client is a market leader in the UK Solar PV industry, boasting a portfolio of over 800MW of operational assets across the UK, Netherlands, and Italy. The successful candidate will oversee the entire project pipeline, guiding projects from pre-construction to completion. They will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality, revenue-generating assets by coordinating internal teams and managing external contractors. Key Responsibilities Lead and Manage Construction: Oversee all construction activities, ensuring alignment with our client’s and investors’ interests. Risk & Hazard Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments and integrate lessons from operational plants to improve project feasibility. Project Oversight: Manage projects from planning approval through EPC construction, commissioning, and warranty periods. Contractor & Procurement Support: Assist in the EPC and ICP tendering process, contract negotiations, and awards. Financial Oversight: Manage contract milestones, advise on retentions, and handle liquidated damage claims. Regulatory Compliance: Act as the Competent Person for CDM matters and ensure projects meet all regulatory and contractual obligations. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with EPCs, ICPs, DNOs, landowners, and local communities. Project Reporting: Provide clear progress updates and interpret contractual variations for the investment team. Budget & Performance Tracking: Develop budgets, monitor expenditure, and establish KPIs for construction projects. Environmental & ESG Compliance: Work with the ESG team to implement responsible sourcing and environmental policies. Post-Commissioning Oversight: Ensure smooth handover of projects to asset management teams, managing defects and performance issues. Insurance & Data Security: Oversee insurance policies and ensure data security in line with GDPR and company policies. Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to fire, health, and safety policies, attending required training. Handover Management: Develop comprehensive handover packs for seamless transition to asset management. Requirements Degree level qualification in Engineering, Construction or equivalent. Extensive experience in the management of the pre-construction, EPC/construction, and early stages of EPC warranty period/post-construction phases of utility-scale solar PV, co-located PV & BESS and stand-alone BESS, ideally in a commercial/owner’s representative context. Strong technical understanding, communication and project management skills, underpinned by knowledge of, and commitment to, the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management and planning compliance. Must be able to work in a pressured, fast-paced environment, managing high performing teams and collaborating across a range of internal business areas and external consultants.
