Offshore Installation Engineer - FSS Offshore, Denmark - DenmarkContract Duration: 1st March 2025 to 30th November 2025Working Week: 5 days per week (prior to offshore campaign)Rotation: 12-hour shifts, 14-day rotation during offshore campaign (starting April 2025)Location: Initially onshore, transitioning to offshore in April 2025Role Overview: Step into a pivotal role for the installation of Foundation Secondary Structures. This position offers a unique blend of onshore and offshore responsibilities, providing a dynamic and challenging environment for seasoned professionals in the offshore renewable industry.Benefits:- Professional Growth: Enhance your expertise in offshore wind energy structures and large-scale infrastructure projects- Dynamic Work Environment: Engage in both onshore and offshore activities, ensuring a varied and stimulating work experience.- Stakeholder Interaction: Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders, fostering valuable professional relationships.- Safety and Quality Focus: Play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Onshore Activities:- Attend and contribute to project meetings, chairing relevant coordination sessions.- Review and challenge method statements and risk assessments to de-risk offshore activities.- Liaise with key internal stakeholders regarding Transport & Installation (T&I) planning and construction preparations.Offshore Activities:- Report to the Offshore Installation Manager, ensuring tasks are completed safely and on time.- Review health and safety documents, monitor HSE performance, and conduct inspections.- Participate in safety walks and daily meetings, escalating issues as necessary.- Assist in preparing Daily Progress Reports, ensuring contractor compliance with technical and operational requirements.- Witness key activities and participate in quality control walkdowns and inspections.Qualifications and Experience:Education: Degree in civil/structural engineering, naval architecture, ocean engineering, or a closely aligned discipline.Certifications: GWO Training (Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling), current valid medical certificate for offshore work.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet; drafting software knowledge (DWGtrueview, AutoCAD) is optional.Experience: Minimum of 4 years in the offshore renewable industry, with strong technical skills in the construction and installation of offshore wind energy structures.Additional Skills: Analytical skills, stakeholder advocacy, organisational skills, and the ability to respond to changing priorities.This role demands a professional with a robust understanding of offshore construction contracts, industry standards, and heavy lift vessels. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, along with the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly.
