Ecologi
Founded in 2019, Ecolog is a climate change community where businesses and members come together to be part of the journey to zero carbon. One of the best tools to fight climate change is to plant trees, and Ecologi gives you the tools to subscribe and participate in tree planting. Contributions have also helped fund a range of certified carbon avoidance projects, including power generation projects in India and small onshore wind projects in Sri Lanka. Our LSP forests have planted over 4,000 trees and funded over 40 projects, with that number growing every day. For more information about Ecologi, and to visit the LSP forest, see below.
ISO 14001
As our business grows, it is vital for us to ensure that our environmental responsibility remains at the highest possible standard. ISO 14001 (alongside our existing ISO 9001, 27001) is an internationally agreed and recognized standard designed to ensure the quality assurance of our environmental management systems. LSP Renewables is proud to have achieved all three certifications in 2021 and 2022, but having ISO 14001 shows how LSP as a company can contribute to the net zero journey in other ways. Achieving these certifications demonstrates to our current and future global connections that our environmental performance and management systems are always of the highest standards.
Bromley FC
LSP Renewables is based in the heart of Bromley, a town full of community and home to Vanarama National League Football Club - Bromley Football Club. Back in August 2021, LSP Renewables became a partner of Bromley Football Club’s Student Academy. This partnership allows us to help the college upgrade its software and provide a better learning experience for students in Bromley. As part of Bromley Football Club Academy we work closely with staff to provide students with workshops, lectures and work experience to help them achieve their future careers and life aspirations .After a successful year of supporting the academy, LSP Renewables have the opportunity to become the first team shirt sponsor for the 2022/23 season. This is a fantastic opportunity for LSP to support the team as they grow and become part of the Bromley Football Club family. We will continue our sponsorship into the new season and look forward to what comes next for us.
Charity Events
Each year, LSP designates a charity (chosen by our employees) for which we raise funds through internal events and fundraising days. LSP is committed to the renewable energy industry and the complete removal of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. However, we strongly believe that supporting charities in other sectors is an important pillar of making a successful impact on the societies in which we live. LSP has hosted many events in recent years, the biggest of which was when our UK team completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge, raising over £4,000 for our chosen charity in 2023, Mind.
