Responsibilities

• Directly reporting to VP, Business development, oversees the project management of new business development initiatives of the Company.
• Leads in the early-stage discussions with potential business partner throughout the project life cycle, oversee due diligence of the project and collaborates with other department for consideration of legal, commercial, and financial issues surrounding the project.
• Leads the overall management of deals. May be solely responsible for certain aspects of the project such as but not limited to drafting and reviewing contracts, term sheets and long form agreements, due diligence, investment analysis and presentations.
• Coordinating with internal and external groups for the execution of the transaction.
• Perform various operations functions for the project companies on and an ad hoc basis.

Requirements

• MBA or post-graduate in related field is a plus
• CFA desired
• At least 8 years work experience working as Business Development Officer or as M&A/deal manager or a similar role.
• Proficient in advanced financial modelling tools and technique, excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge and exposure in Merger & Acquisition, Project Finance, drafting and reviewing shareholder/partnership agreements and term sheets, Capital structure including taxation and cashflow distribution optimization, and commercial contract review.
• Knowledge in EPC and PPA a plus. Preferably with work experience in energy or holding industry via energy / holding company, investment banking or PE funds – M&A transactions/investments, financial deal and M&A advisory services or similar role.
• Experience / exposure to dealing with negotiations and relationship management with external parties.
