Client Representative - Noise Mitigation

Denmark

Our client is looking for a Client Representative Offshore, Noise Mitigation Vessel to join their team. Key ResponsibilitiesReview and understand the Project’s HSE Plan including the Emergency Response Plan and ensure Contractor adheres to the HSE requirements;Review health and safety documents as required before execution phase commences and keep updated on changes in the documents;Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPR) which will include progress of the works, mechanical breakdown, weather downtime etc. and ensure the DPRs are signed by all required parties (as appropriate);Ensure Contractor compliance with technical/operational requirements and that works are executed in a safe manner and to the required quality;Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks and other discussions as well as package/project meetings.Aligning and escalating topics (as necessary) to the Offshore Site Management.Monitor Safety Observations Cards (SOCs) during daily meetings and ensure they are recorded within the DPR. Highlight any of particular note or concern toward Offshore Site Management and HSE team.During all defined key activities and otherwise as often as practicable be present as a witness during installation.Where the HSE Team is unable to attend any asset, vessel or location carry out planned HS&E inspection(s) on their behalf.Participate in safety walks with health and safety representatives from the Project Company and Contractor.Identify and report any safety-related observations on a day to day basis whilst performing primary duties.In the event of incident / accident take detailed notes, timeline, pictures and generally gather information to support investigation(s).The Contractor will almost always lead on investigation but it is helpful for Project Company to have its own information available.Where necessary, act on behalf of the Packages Quality Manager and participate in walkdowns, progress monitoring, identification of non-conformance and witnessing in accordance with project Quality Management Plan and Contractor ITPs.  RequirementsGWO Training:Sea Survival,Working at heights,First Aid,Fire Awareness,Manual Handling.Current valid medical certificate and exams for offshore work according to legal requirements.IT proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet) Optional: GIS QGIS /ARC GIS) and drafting software (DWGtrueview, AutoCAD or similar)Experience using inspection/auditing software in a construction environment (desirable).Minimum of 5-years experience of similar services in offshore renewable industry; working knowledge of offshore construction contracts with a ood understanding of the contractual implications of breakdowns, delays, weather downtime etc.Profound understanding of offshore operations, in particular noise mitigation systems (e.g. single/double bubble curtains);Profound understanding of pile installation activities (mono or pin pile), its noise emissions and countermeasuresThe ability to read and understand technical documents and observe (offshore) operations and ensure these are carried out according to the requirements; knowledge about industry standards and regulations, including but limited to International Maritime Organization (IMO) & IMCA guidelines;Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively with others (shall be fluent in spoken and written English)

Responsibilities: You will be required to develop a detailed knowledge of our wind turbines to enable you to perform daily services Working to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring that interference suppression targets are met, you will be part of a team of technicians working throughout Germany Carrying out periodical and preventive maintenance of wind turbines in accordance with specifications Documentation of all troubleshooting work in reports, protocols and checklists Working with both the other technicians and supervisors in the field, whilst also having regular contact with the office-based staff Experience and Qualification: A successfully completed training in power plant electronics, mechatronics or a comparable technical training A successfully completed training in GWO Basic Safety Training Knowledge in English in spoken and written Knowledge in German in spoken or written is desirable Working experience in the wind energy sector is desirable You must hold a full, clean driving licence A self-dependent, conscientious and systematic way of working is natural for you As a team player you keep a good mood even at high workload, and you are able to prioritise your work correctly You have the willingness to travel within Germany You are able to work under pressure, you feel comfortable working at heights, and you are physically fit A good level of computer literacy, used to software, apps and related tools

Our client is looking for a Project Site Engineer to join their team, the successful candidate will ensure compliance of the EPC Contractor with the technical specification and be responsible for leading the overall design and engineering process. Key ResponsibilitiesEnsuring that the EPC Contractor delivers the technical requirements of the ContractEnsuring that EPC contractor fulfils the role and CDM obligations as Principal DesignerReceiving technical submissions from the EPC Contractor, distributing to the relevant stakeholders and providing a coordinated response to the EPC Contractor, in line with the overall project objectives.Co-ordinating design reviews with the EPC contractor and coordinating the input of stakeholdersActing as the focal point for technical issues.Manging the commissioning and associated technical interfaces with site Produce and manage an overall commissioning planManage an interface register for the commissioning phase of worksEnsuring that the EPC works integrate with the work packages undertaken,Assist in the preparation of relevant O&M documents, procedures and inspection schedules to ensure a smooth handover to the client.Contributing to the role and responsibilities of as the CDM Client; Deliverables Ensure compliance with site contracts and scope, measure and monitor supplier performance utilising their breadth of knowledge and experience.Provide commissioning management of the overall project using their past experience and expertise to ensure health and safety is maintained at all times, and that project schedule and costs are maintained.  CertificationsIOSH Managing Safety (or equivalent such as SMSTS or NVQ Level 2)SMSTSCCNSGAll above are required
