Ashley Harrington is a Director of LSP Renewables. He has been working within the Renewable Energy industry since 2011, and consults for many of the leading developers, utilities, owners & EPCI’s across the industry, in particular within wind energy.

At LSP, Ashley is responsible for the direction & management of the whole recruitment division, with a wealth of experience in the renewable energy sector, Ashley has been instrumental in driving sustainable initiatives and recruitment services to his proud client base.

Talent Advisory Consultant

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the global leaders in renewable energy recruitment and directly contribute to the growth and success of the new function within the business. Our Talent Advisory function offers services to both existing and new clients which includes (but are not limited to); interim (‘in-house’) Talent Acquisition partnering with clients during periods of ‘scale-up’, competitor analysis, and salary benchmarking. We are looking for someone who is excited about the prospect of applying their skills to varying recruitment/HR projects and who wants to gain a wealth of exposure and have career development opportunities within a continually evolving sector. Responsibilities Business Development: Assist the Head of Talent Advisory with promoting the function with both new and existing clients, securing uptake of the services. When required support the Head of Talent Advisory with the provision of in-house TA support to clients on an interim basis which could include; Guiding management through the entire recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a positive candidate experience Liase with managers on specific requirements and creating detailed job specifications Candidate screening and utilising our in-house delivery team and platforms for talent sourcing and engagement Support recruitment administration Candidate screening and conduct interviews Offer support with candidate selection and offer management guidance Assist the Head of Talent Advisory with bespoke Salary Benchmarking and Competitor Analysis exercises. Requirements Experience working internally for businesses in a Talent Acquisition or HR capacity. Candidates who have recruitment agency experience, with a desire to apply skills from a different perspective will absolutely be considered. Ideally direct business development experience, but it is essential you have the confidence and desire to sell the service. Strong understanding of the full recruitment life-cycle and ideally direct experience at each stage. Strong communication and relationship building skills with the ability to adapt to different client requirements and communicate directly with hiring managers. Ability to support with the provision of a variety of projects (potentially simultaneously). Familiarity data analytics in recruitment and reward processes is a plus. Exposure to the renewable energy sector is highly desirable but not essential.
